StandardAero has been chosen to receive two multi-year contracts to support Yamal Airlines. The contracts for auxiliary power unit (APU) maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) include a three-year agreement to provide Honeywell GTCP36-150RJ APU MRO services for Yamal’s fleet of 10 CRJ-200LR aircraft and a five-year agreement supporting Honeywell RE220 APU MRO services on Yamal’s fleet of 10 Sukhoi Superjet aircraft. APU services will be provided at StandardAero’s facility in Maryville, Tennessee. This facility not only repairs the APU but all Line Replaceable Units (LRU) associated with the APU.

The new generation of Global 7000 private jets has gone under finalization in assembly, as confirmed by Bombardier. It has been mentioned that these jets are in the process of finalizing assembly in Bombardier’s Toronto factory.The three Global 7000 test planes have performed more than 500 hours of test flying so far.

Gulfstream Aerospace Corp has created a new innovative system that is designed to make a better flight for passenger and operators. The Aerospace company newest connectivity program will enhance in-flight internet, entertainment, and voice. This newly installed connectively program has been implemented to help keep everyone on the aircraft stay intact with the world and not lose connectivity despite their altitudes of thousands of feet. Per a statement made by the President of Gulfstream Product Support, Mr. Dereck Zimmerman, he states that this innovation is what Gulf stream needs for a better more efficient connection for their customers.

Bombardier released its prototype for testing of the Global 7000 private jet. They have been given the green light to finally going into an assembly in a Bombardier owned factory located in Toronto, Canada. The Global 7000 has been equipped with all the latest and greatest luxurious equipment and accessories. The first flight of the Global 7000 was in the year 2016 and have 2 other test aircraft underway. Along with the 2 aircraft, there are an additional 3 other test planes stationed in Wichita, Kansas. Already the 3-test plane has accumulated an approximate 500 hours’ worth of test flying.

Boeing has created a new addition to the Chinook helicopters to increase its potential in lifting cargo along with other innovative features. This newest addition has been a has been made for the improvement of U.S Army aircraft. The innovations are known as the CH-47F Block II that is expected to increase the longevity of the aircraft all while creating jobs for the Philadelphia facility for an approximate 20 years to come. The Army’s contract is expected to be worth a total of 276 million which will fund the completion of 3 prototypes that the Army will be used for testing. As this is only the beginning of the long-term goal of 500 Chinook upgrades.

Bell Helicopter Textron inc. and Polska Grupa Zbrojeniowa one of the largest defense groups in central Europe, signed a letter of intent to collaborate on the UH-1Y, one of bell’s combat proven utility helicopters.  This signing along with the letter of intent for the AH-1Z, an American twin-engine attack helicopter, solidify the business relationship between Polska Grupa Zbrojeniowa and Bell Helicopter. Due to this letter of intent both companies will be expanding into areas of Poland’s future utility helicopter needs in areas that are willing to cooperate.

Lion Air Group has teamed up once again with BOEING to expand their fleet with 50 737 Max 10 aircrafts. The news of the commitment was announced at the 2017 Paris Air Show that took place June 17th through the 25th.  The estimated cost for this transaction has been said to be worth than more over 6.4 billion US dollars. As of today, Lion Air Group is the largest operator of 737 of the BOEING Next Generation with their previously ordered 201 aircrafts. Previously the first customer to purchase BOEINGS 737 MAX 9 models. Alongside with their subdivision Malaysia Airlines was also the first customer to purchase their even older model the 737 MAX 8.

In early April 2017 Boeing, in collaboration with Mongolian Airlines, announced its decision to lease two 737 AX airplanes from Avolon, a global aircraft leasing company. This new addition comes as the airlines hopes to improve its single-aisle fleet in the coming years.

Bell Helicopter Textron Inc. (NYSE:TXT) company, has unveiled its vision at the Heli-Expo in Dallas for the future of rotorcraft. The FCX-001 concept helicopter has new technologies to reduce noise, boost safety and performance, and enhance both the pilot and the passenger experience. Bell Helicopter officials call the concept helicopter “a 3D roadmap for delivering safer, smarter, and more efficient rotorcraft solutions.” It was borne out of a “highly collaborative team of problem solvers”. A core group of Bell Helicopter engineers and graphic designers, to address the evolving demands of customers and demonstrating key technologies that revolutionize the pilot and passenger experience, including a new anti-torque system in the tail boom designed to change the safety, noise, and performance parameters of vertical lift aircraft forever.

China Airlines (CAL) that is based in Taiwan, has gotten in touch with Airbus for their maintance, engineering and technical training services. They have agreed to join in a memorandum (MoU) that will take care of latter matters. Not only will the China airlines benefit from such partnership but also their associates such as TAMECO. CAL and Tameco are both eagerly excited to be able to utilize what Airbus has in store for them while expanding both programs with their help.

Counting a remarkable 200 “heavy maintance” inspection on Challenger series air crafts throughout the course of 8 years. This outstanding accomplishment is a mile stone for the great success that the Bombardier company will and has always strived for. These innovative aircrafts have been chosen for their capability and endurance of performing missions and require to be maintained. As the Bombardier, has been around for years they have been able to complete a number of maintance on different type of models and aircrafts. The entire Bombardier fleet has been fortunate to accumulate an approximate 7.3 million hours in flight time and a have a recorded 4.3 million landings.

The new three wide-body Airbus A330 to join the airberlin fleet builds towards its biggest long-haul summer flight schedule to the U.S.  The new aircraft will join airberlin’s existing Airbus 330 fleet of 14 and boost capacity by almost 1,000 passengers. The first of the 290-seater is scheduled to come into operation in February with the next two planes flying in airberlin’s colours before the end of April. The leased aircraft will be designed with 19 fully-flat seats in business class and 271 seats in the economy section. Each aircraft will be fitted with 46 XL seats which give an extra 20 percent seat to provide more legroom and extra comfort.

The F-35 jet is set to come to an end of service in the year 2070. The US Air Force has been working on a replacement for some time now, many years actually. The sixth generation strike aircraft also known as the penetrating counter air, or PCA plat form is currently being studied. There will be a published report on the unit in December of 2017. The capabilities of the PCA will be a hybrid approach towards having air superiority.

One of Irelands largest independent helicopter leasing company, Waypoint has been presented with the opportunity to lease a helicopter to German operator, Global Helicopter Service GmbH (GHS).  GHS is known to have a back ground in performing operations with their helicopters for humanitarian utility support missions.
