Bloomberg released an article on January 29th, 2016 stating that ANA Holdings, or All Nippon Airways, is planning on buying three Airbus Group SE A380 superjumbos. These three Airbus Group SE A380 superjumbos will be used to assist the Japanese airline in broadening their international network as a whole.
These Airbus Group SE A380 superjumbos will be used for flights that are Tokyo-Honolulu bound as vice versa. These superjumbos are planning to be used during the beginning of the 2018 fiscal year around June. This statement was announced during the company’s mid-term business plan in Tokyo. The order for the three superjumbos leads to over $1.2 billion based on list prices.

ANA Holdings expects an $18 billion goal in terms of sales that will be reached in the beginning of April 2020’s fiscal year. Along with this, ANA projects an operating profit of roughly 200 billion yen.
